In addition to the art movements known to us, painting and sculpture, a special type of art developed, the so-called packaging art. This was shaped by a single man whose name made headlines again recently, Christo. He also made a name for himself in Paris, Miami, California and other countries around the world. Many people have heard about Christo's spectacular projects. Christo is a native of Bulgaria, where he was born on June 13, 1935. He lived in Bulgaria for 22 years, until 1957. He himself says it was nice, but you couldn't really develop. In the following years he began to take portraits. In the period between 1960 and 1980 he planned almost all of the following "projects", as he called them. Christo is a kind of globetrotter; he often commutes between the USA and Europe. In 1959 he met and married the former Air France stewardess Jeanne Claude. She plays an important role in Christo's life because she gives him courage when, for example, a project is rejected or he has problems convincing the authorities
