Biography

Born in 1902 in Sagua La Grande, Cuba.
1923 Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in San Alejandro, La Habana. He continued his studies in Madrid.
1938 He moves to Paris, where he receives support from Picasso.
1940 He moves to Marseille.

1951 He receives the 1st prize at the Salón Nacional de Cuba.
From 1955 onwards, numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
1982 He dies in Paris.
