1940 born in Hirschberg/Giant Mountains 1950 moved to Hanover 1960 started studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Berlin 1961- 1964 painting class with Marc Zimmermann, beginnings of lithography 1962 study trip to Venice and Florence, studying Italian painting, especially the Sienese and Mannerists 1964 first state examination and study trip to Rome 1965 master student 1968 has been working since then as a freelance painter and graphic artist in Berlin
