 This portrait is of Lothar Matthäus. Lothar Herbert Matthäus (born 21 March 1961) is a former German football player
 and current coach. He was voted European Footballer of the Year and German Footballer of the Year in 1990,
 after winning the 1990 World Cup as captain of the Federal Republic of Germany. A year later, he was also
 was named the first ever FIFA World Player of the Year.
