The artwork “Space To Grow” has been included in the Royal Academy of Arts’ 2024 summer exhibition.
The work, a UV print on aluminium dibond, was selected by Cornelia Parker CBE RA and exhibited in the Large Weston Room. The entire edition of the print sold out in the opening week of the exhibition.
Held annually since 1768, the exhibition features works by established and emerging artists from around the world, with most works offered for sale.
___________________________________
The print has a fantastic vibrancy and shines in the light. The colours absorb the surface of the aluminium, creating a glittery finish.
UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses ultraviolet light to dry the ink during printing. As the printer spreads ink onto the metal surface, a specially designed UV light follows closely behind, instantly drying the ink.
